Description: Maria Priestley, nee Jones, was born in the village of Conisbrough, South Yorkshire. Entered nurse training as a mature student at the School of Nursing at Rotherham District General Hospital. After several years working in the hospital setting, trained as a Practice Nurse and eventually became a Nurse Practitioner within a walk-in centre. Now lives in Harlington, a village in South Yorkshire, with her Husband, she has two sons and three grandchildren.
